OTIS — The Central Plains High School volleyball team beat defending Class 1A state champion St. John on Tuesday at the Otis-Bison Triangular.
The Lady Oilers fell 25-17 in the first game, but rallied for 30-28 and 26-24 wins to claim the match.
Central Plains, which has a spotless 4-0 record in Central Prairie League play, beat the Lady Cougars 25-12 and 25-16.
St. John, which is 2-1 in CPL matches, beat Otis-Bison 25-13 and 25-13.
The Lady Cougars are 1-3 in league play.
