DODGE CITY — Make it three in a row for the Great Bend High School girls’ tennis team.
The Lady Panthers won the Dodge City Invitational on Thursday for their third straight tournament victory of the season.
Great Bend won all of its matches with the exception of one, the final of the No. 1 singles competition. Freshman Macy Moyers fell 8-5 against Dodge City’s Red Team to finish second.
“I thought we played well,” GBHS head coach Shannon Schartz said. “Our No. 2 doubles (Stephanie Langer and Paola Ramirez) had a great comeback to win the final match.
“Macy’s just a freshman, and she played a great match. I couldn’t be happier with how the whole team played.”
