Lady Tigers win make-up game against Kinsley

KINSLEY — Teresa Wade followed her 18-point performance on Friday with a 21-point explosion in Monday night’s win over Kinsley.
The Lady Tigers, who are ranked No. 1 in Class 1A Division-I in the latest Kansas Basketball Coaches Association poll, defeated Kinsley 47-26 in a make-up game that was postponed due to inclement weather on Dec. 20.
Wade scored seven of her team’s 13 points in the third quarter and nine of the Lady Tigers’ 11 in the final period.
Jamie Waters got St. John started, scoring all of her 10 points in the first quarter, leading it to a 20-2 lead after eight minutes.
Brittany Gleason led Lady Coyotes with eight points.
St. John hosts Wichita Word of Life tonight.

Spencer Nusser added 12 points as 10 players finished the game with points.
