HUTCHINSON — Larned’s Colton Massey captured medalist honors with a 1-over-par 73 in Monday’s Nickerson Golf Tournament. Larned (353) placed first and Sterling (357) was runner-up.
Massey birdied three holes after a double bogey, bogey start at Crazy Horse Golf Course, the former Highlands Golf Club. Massey finished eight strokes ahead of teammate Brandon Bartz (81). Braeden Corman (91) placed sixth.
Sterling’s Zach Schissler placed third (84), Lucas Weigel fourth (86) and James McNutt fifth (87).
