SALINA — Larned High School senior Kaiden Reed finished a 35-14 season with a 2-2 record in the Class 4A State Wrestling Championship.
Top-ranked Justin Scott of Jefferson West pinned Reed in 32 seconds in the first round.
Reed pinned Circle’s Austin King in 1:30 and defeated Jake Hastings of Santa Fe Trail 3-0.
Reed lost 1-0 to Soring Hill’s Kainon Clark Saturday in a match that would’ve earned Reed a state medal. Clark finished fourth.
