GREENSBURG – Erik Torres scored four touchdowns to spark Kiowa County past Macksville 56-0 in an Eight-Man I District football game. Torres scored tree rushing touchdowns and caught a 52-yard touchdown pass from Frank Cuevas, who also ran for a touchdown.

Sammy Cervantes returned an interception for a touchdown and the Mavericks scored a safety on a blocked punt.

Kiowa County (5-4) plays at No. 2 ranked Central Plains (8-1) Tuesday in the Eight-Man I playoffs. Macksville ends with a 1-8 record.
