MANHATTAN — Manhattan’s Addy Stone scored three goals in the first 16 minutes to ignite a 10-0 victory against Great Bend’s soccer team Monday at Bishop Stadium. Cailey Perkins also scored three goals for 6A Manhattan (11-4), which led 6-0 at halftime. The game ended with 22:36 left in the second half.
Great Bend (6-9) plays at Junction City Thursday. The Panthers are seeded 13th in 5A and would play Maize South (13-2-1) in next week’s regionals.
