Oilers, Cougars make state volleyball

ST. JOHN – No. 1 ranked Central Plains cruised past Ellinwood 25-16, 25-16 to capture the Class 2A St. John substate volleyball championship. The Oilers (36-2) captured last year’s Class 2A state title with a 43-0 record. Ellinwood upset No. 2 seed Inman in the semifinals.
