Oilers cruise to second District win

CLAFLIN — Sophomore Quarterback Devin Ryan completed four touchdown passes to spark state-ranked Cebtral Plains past Little River 52-6 in an Eight-Man 1, District 5 football victory. The Oilers (6-0, 2-0 District) play at Ellinwood (1-5, 0-2 District) Friday.
Ryan completed a pair of touchdown passes to Brett Liebl and two to leading receiver Alex Barton. Ryan completed 12 passes for 153 yards.
Alex Hickel added two scoring runs and gained 64 yards. Anthony Oberle scored on a touchdown run. The Oilers scored on drives of 33, 46, 53 and 74 yards to lead 32-0 at halftime. The Oilers converted on scoring drives of 24, 26 and 53 yards in the second half. Little River’s Peyton Harvey scored on a 53-yard run after intercepting a pass.
