OTIS — Thirteen seconds into an Eight-Man Division-II District 7 game against Wilson High School, Otis-Bison senior tailback Dylan Wissman found the end zone on a 57-yard scoring run.
The Cougars captured a 60-14 triumph after two quarters, ending the game with the 45-point rule.
Wissman finished with 173 rushing yards and five touchdowns. He also caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Kole Urban.
Otis-Bison secured a postseason berth with the win, improving to 7-1 overall, 4-0 in district play.
Jordan Hoffman rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns for the Cougars.
Otis-Bison travels to Sylvan-Lucas on Thursday to end the regular season.

HOISINGTON — Hoisington jumped out to a 20-0 lead after the first quarter during Class 3A District 15 action against Russell.
The Cardinals evened their overall record at 4-4. They are 1-1 in their district, setting up a district and Mid-Central Activities Association clash with Thomas More Prep Marian on Thursday night in Hays for a postseason berth and a league title.
Russell drops to 1-7, 0-2.
Hoisington’s defense allowed the Broncos 195 yards after cruising to an early lead.
Stafford 58, Cunningham 8
CUNNINGHAM — Cunningham seemingly had no match for Stafford’s running back tandem, as the Trojans routed the Bobcats.
Stafford improves to 5-3, 3-2 in Eight-Man D-II District 4. However, South Barber already has the district title locked up, and Caldwell is district runner-up.
Cunningham falls to 4-4, 3-2.
Stafford’s Tristin Paulsen rushed for a team-leading 185 yards and four touchdowns.
Ethan Johnson added 167 yards and three TDs.
Stafford challenges Attica on the road in Week 9.
Macksville 66,
Pratt-Skyline 20
PRATT — Macksville junior quarterback Tanner Tranbarger found several ways to score against Eight-Man D-I District 6 foe Pratt-Skyline.
Macksville improves to 4-4, 3-2. The Mustangs are fourth in their district standings, behind St. John, Kiowa County and Fairfield.
Tranbarger rushed for 142 yards and five touchdowns, while completing 10 of 16 passes for 216 yards and two TDs.
He also returned an interception 45 yards to score.

LA CROSSE — La Crosse senior running back Kip Keeley tied a school record for most touchdowns in a single game in a 2A District 5 rout.
Keeley finished with six TDs — five rushing and one receiving.
The Leopards improve to 8-0, 3-0, while Ellinwood drops to 0-8, 0-3.
Ellinwood’s Tanner Swank scored on a 64-yard pass from Patrick Ringering, scoring the only points for the Eagles.
Ellinwood hosts Inman in Week 9 to close the regular season.
Hugoton 52, Larned 6
HUGOTON — Larned was kicked from 4A playoff contention by Hugoton during a District 14 tilt.
Indians Jamil Shoemaker was the only player to score, punching it in from one yard out in the second quarter, leaving the score 19-6 at halftime.
Brady Keith rushed for 54 yards, and quarterback Easton Palmer completed 9 of 19 passes for 66 yards.
Hugoton improves to 4-4, 2-0, and will challenge Ulysses (5-3, 2-0) for a district title in Week 9.
Larned (3-5, 0-2) hosts Pratt on Thursday.
Central Plains 56, Solomon 52
CLAFLIN — Central Plains came out on the right side of an Eight-Man D-I District 5 shootout.
Quarterback Bryce Steiner connected with Layne Bieberle for a 62-yard touchdown with 2:53 remaining to give the Oilers an edge.
Central Plains improves to 4-4, 3-1, while Solomon drops to 7-1, 3-1.
Steiner completed 15 of 23 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns.
He also rushed for a pair of scores.
The Oilers travel to Little River on Thursday to close out the regular season.
