DODGE CITY — Great Bend golfer Kelby Titus shot his season best with a 7-over-par 78 (41-37) that placed fifth at Dodge City’s Mariah Hills Golf Course.
Titus earned 13 Western Athletic Conference points to move into ninth place with two more WAC tournaments remaining.
“Kelby Titus enjoyed his best tournament so far. Kelby’s confidence is growing and now that we’re halfway through our regular season schedule, hopefully he is trending in the right direction,” said Great Bend coach Travis McAtee. “We had a really nice day to play at Dodge City.”
Hutchinson’s Jack Lanham was medalist (71) after tying with Garden City’s Taylor Larsen (71). Maize High (315) captured first place, seven strokes ahead of Garden City (322).
