Panther golfer ties for 10th at Garden City

GARDEN CITY — Great Bend’s Kelby Titus shot an 80 to tie for 10th place at Friday’s Garden City Golf Invitational at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course. The Panthers placed fifth with a 394 team score.
Great Bend will travel to Liberal Tuesday for the Western Athletic Conference Tournament at Willow Tree Golf Course.
Liberal’s Cameron Riley won a playoff over Garden City’s Taylor Larsen for first place after they tied with even-par 72s. WAC leader Garden City shot 302 to beat runnerup Hays High (315).
