Great Bend’s No. 2 doubles team of Trent Stueder and Omar Talamentes placed runner-up with a 6-1 record at the Great Bend Tennis Tournament at Veterans Park. Stueder and Talamentes lost 8-4 to Garden City’s Dan Chacon and Brian Carrera for first place.

Garden City scored 67 points to finish ahead of Dodge City (55) and Great Bend Black (43).

Other champions were No. 1 singles Dodge City’s Brett Groth, 7-0; No. 2 singles Garden City’s Kender Acevdao, 7-0; and No. 1 doubles Garden City’s Will Keller and Dan Darter, 7-0.
