GARDEN CITY— Eric Martinez scored on a penalty kick in the final ten minutes of competition but it wasn’t enough as the Panthers fell 2-1 to host Garden City in WAC action Thursday evening.

The Buffs led 2-0 at the half.

Great Bend drops to 5-7 on the season and will host Liberal at 4 p.m. Monday at Cavanaugh Fields.
