Fresh off a 45-31 win over Wichita Haysville Campus High School on Saturday, the Great Bend Panthers travel to Larned tonight to take on the Indians in non-conference boys basketball action.
Tonight’s freshman game starts at 4, the junior varsity game tips off at 5:45 and the varsity boys game is set for 7:30. The games will be played at Larned Middle School
The Panthers (3-9 overall) took part in the 2012 Bluestem Classic on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in El Dorado, taking home seventh place for the second consecutive year.

PAOLA — Led by a first-place finish by Great Bend’s Chris Burley (126 pounds), the Panthers placed fourth with 128 points at the Paola Invitational wrestling tournament on Saturday.
Derby won the tournament with 173 points, followed by Pittsburg with 136 points and Shawnee Mission East taking third with 132 points.
Besides Burley, other placers for the Panthers included Darian Yager (second); Gunar Brewer (third); Ryan DesLauriers (fourth); Brett Roberts (fourth); Cody Lytle (third); and Brodie Bretz (fourth).

The GBHS girls basketball team takes on top seed Olathe South in the first round of the Glacier’s Edge basketball tournament on Thursday in Emporia. The eighth-seeded Lady Panthers’ game tips off at 5:30 p.m.
