St. John continues winning ways

ST. JOHN — At 7-0, the St. John High School boys’ basketball team continues to cruise past opponents.
Just four days after scoring 90 points against Cunningham, the Tigers pounded Kinsley 65-28.
Sophomore Dean Wade was the leader for the Tigers, scoring 18 points. He had eight steals and seven rebounds.
Zuriel Reyes added 14 points, Spencer Nusser finished with 11 and Kade Kinnamon scored 10.
St. John is done until after the Christmas break.

The Lady Tigers (7-0) was led by post player Teresa Christie, who finished with 14 points and six rebounds.
Morgan Osborne also has six rebounds, and scored eight points.
Jamie Waters added eight points.
