STAFFORD — St. John-Hudson’s girls’ track and field team tied for first place at the Stafford Invitational with South Barber to open the 2013 season.
For the Lady Tigers, Alexis Witt won the 100 and 200, and Haley Falk finished first in the 300 hurdles.
The Tigers finished in second place behind Pretty Prairie.
Dean Wade reached the top height in the high jump, Logan Behr won the javelin, Jesus Alvarez took first inthe discus and Austin White won the shot put.
Host Stafford had both its girls’ and boys’ teams finish in fourth place.
Derek McClure won the 3,200 run.
