LARNED — Hoisington High School senior Cody Stetler finished with a game-high 23 points to lead the Cardinals over Mid-Central Activities Association opponent Larned 65-38 on Friday night.
Stetler was held to two points in the first eight minutes, but Anthony Broeder scored nine points in the opening quarter to propel the Cardinals (3-2) to a 20-7 lead.
Broeder finished with 11 points.
Brayden Smith led the Indians (2-3) with 17 points, knocking in five 3-pointers.

Blakeslee was 11 of 16 from the free-throw line.
Patrick Ringering added 10 points for the Eagles (3-3).
Ellinwood travels to Hoisington on Tuesday.

GREENSBURG — Kiowa County jumped ahead early and maintained a small lead throughout the game, holding off Macksville for a two-point victory.
The Mustangs (2-3), who scored 26 points in the final quarter in a rally attempt, were led by Tanner Tranbarger’s 24 points.
Adolfo Ibarra added 13 points and 15 rebounds for a double-double.
