Great Bend High School sophomores Brianna Schartz and Jami McVay and freshman Morgan Francis are in Goddard today, competing in the Class 5A state tournament.
Schartz and McVay, who were second-place finishers on Monday at a Class 5A regional at Salina Central in doubles, enter the state meet with a 25-12 record.
Francis takes a 23-8 record into singles play.
All three players, under the guidance of longtime GBHS head coach Shannon Schartz, head into today’s meet playing their best tennis of the season.
