Due to inclement weather forecasted for the area, today’s 5A Region 1 softball tournament at the Great Bend Sports Complex has been postponed and moved to Thursday, May 21. Starting times for the tournament remain as originally scheduled.

The tournament opener pitting Wichita Heights and Maize South will begin at 3 p.m. followed by Great Bend and Emporia at 4:30 p.m. The regional championship game will be played at 6 p.m.

Today’s regional baseball game between Great Bend and Salina-South at Maize will be played as originally scheduled at 2 p.m. Soccer is still scheduled to play Maize South at 7 p.m. this evening in Maize.
