Great Bend Quicksilver finished as state runner-up in the IFA state tournament at Salina. Great Bend Quicksilver swept four softball games at their most recent tournament. Quicksilver 14 has posted an 27-7 record in the first summer as a 14-and-under softball team.

Coaches Khris Thexton, Lyles Lashley and Josh Post features a lineup that included DeShawnna Bryant, Lauryn Davis, Bailey Jackson, Taylor Lashley, Faith Miller, MaKenzie Premer, Halle Post, Rylee Prilling, Callie Steffan, Paige Thexton and Teagan Walker. 

QUICKSILVER 10, STRIKE FORCE 8 – Quicksilver’s Davis doubled home Premer and Miller singled home Davis for two second-inning runs. Bryant doubled in Jackson and Prilling to ignite an eight-run third inning. Davis singled home Bryant and Premer. Beck scored on Miller's single. Miller scored on Prilling's single. Jackson's single scored Steffan and Post for a 10-3 victory.

QUICKSILVER 12, SALINA CYCLONES 3 – Quicksilver’s Bryant drilled a two-run homer that scored Thexton. Beck scored on a hit batter. Premer scored two runs and Bryant scored another run.

QUICKSILVER 13, RILEY COUNTY 0 – Quicksilver’s Bryant homered and drove home three runs. Jackson, Thexton and Beck each delivered two RBIs. Miller, Steffan and Post each drove in one run.

QUICKSILVER 11, SALINA CYCLONES 2 – Quicksilver’s Prilling and Premer each drove in two runs. Miller, Beck, Davis, Steffan and Post each drove in one run. Bryant, Premer and Steffan each doubled. Premer, Prilling and Beck each tripled.
