SCOTT CITY 51, HOISINGTON 35 — The offensive challenged Hoisington Cardinals lost 51-35 to Scott City in Tuesday's 3A Larned basketball substate, the same team the Cardinals started the season with a victory. 

Mason Martin led the Cardinals with 13 points.

Scott City's Junior Meza scored 20 points and Avery Radke added 10 points. Scott City (13-9) plays No. 1 seed Beloit (18-4) Friday at Larned.
