ELLINWOOD — Six Pack, a club volleyball team, opened their season on Dec. 16 in Wichita. The team for 17-year-olds finished third in a tournament of nine teams. Teammates include Kelsea Ward, Sophie Hayes, Amanda Tucker, Elizabeth Frakes, Briana Holmes, Jenna Collins, Kylee Kasselman and Emily Baldwin.
The Six Pack team for 13-year-olds competed up a level in the 14-year-old division. The team dominated the tournament, going undefeated on the day and capturing first place out of 10 teams.  
Six Pack is an area volleyball club with 72 athletes and nine teams ranging in age from third through 11th grades.
The teams will be competing all over the state each weekend until April. On Saturday, Jan. 12,  the fourth-grade team will host a local tournament to be held at Ellinwood Grade School.  
On Sunday, Jan. 13, the fifth-, sixth-, eighth- and 11th-grade teams will be hosting a home tournament at Ellinwood High School.
