HESSTON – St. John’s Marshall Woolf has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Hesston College. Woolf competed two seasons at Stafford and one year at St. John High School. Woolf plans to pursue a pre-med program in health science at Hesston.
Woolf qualified for 1A state golf at Goodland’s Sugar Hills (2017), placed 17th at Dodge City’s Mariah Hills (2018) and finished 41st at Salina Municipal (2019).
Woolf played for two state tournament teams at St. John (2019, 2020) and qualified for state cross country three times.
Woolf was recognized as Kansas Honor Scholar, earned the “A” honor roll four consecutive years. He is a National Honor Society member. H
“I’m very appreciative of coach Clint Kinnamon and coach Justin Nusser for their positive leadership,” Woolf said. “I’m excited to play for the Hesston College golf team, led by coach Dustin Gaylon.”
