LARNED — St. John medalist  A.J. Miller (17:57.7) led the Tigers (32) to first place ahead of Lakin (42) in the junior-senior division at Thursday’s Abby Trapp-Prescott Larned Invitational. Running conditions were ideal – cloudy and cool.

.Other top 10 medalists were Larned’s second-place Braydon Lothman (18;14.9); St. John’s seventh-place Uriel Calleros (18:21.4); Hoisington’s eighth-place Dayne Yott (18;40.2) and St. John’s 10th-place Trey Fisher (19:01.6).

BOYS FR-SO –  Runner-up Ian Doss (18:47.4) led Hoisington to first place (32) over Lakin (56).

Other top 10 medalists were Hoisington’s fourth-place Karter Wolf (19:03.4); fifth-place Gabe Hipp (19:15.3); Great Bend’s seventh-place Malachi Wasson (19:18.5); and Otis-Bison’s 10thh-place Peytan Butler (19;41.8).

GIRLS JR-SR – Great Bend’s Mayra Ramirez (20:38.5) stayed unbeaten with a first-place finish in the junior-senior girls division.

Larned’s Cierra Nord (22:21.5) placed runner-up. Other top-10 finishers were Central Plains’ sixth-place Hannah Redetzke, (22:56.4); and Larned’s ninth-place Makayla Leiker (24:33.6).

Macksville (27) won the girls division over Skyline (28). 

GIRLS SO-FR—Macksville’s runner-up Madison Butler (21:59.8) led the Mustangs to first place (33) over Hays-Thomas More Prep (39). Macksville’s ninth-place Abigail Ibarra (23:53.8) and Great Bend’s 10th-place August Siefkes (23:54.8) earned top 10 medals.
