St. John scores two touchdowns in 62-14 loss to Kinsley

KINSLEY — St. John’s Jace Reyes and Dorian Valenzuela scored touchdowns in the Tigers 62-14 loss to Kinsley in Friday’s Eight-Man 2, District 7 football game. Reyes caught a 9-yard pass from Braxton Alpers. Valenzuela scored on 8-yard run.

Kinsley’s Dequan Johnson, Woodrow Lancaster and Trenton Anderson each scored a pair of touchdowns.

Johnson scored on 36 and 60-yard runs. Lancaster scored on 2 and 44-yard runs. Anderson caught 30- and 35-yard touchdown passes from Payton Schmidt. Connor Chamberlain and Julian Gomez scored rushing touchdowns. Anthony Meza scored on a 25-yard interception return.

Kinsley (6-1, 3-1 District) plays at Stafford and St. John (3-4, 1-2 District) plays South Central Friday.
