LANGDON – Fairfield’s Mikayla Pugh was on fire with a 22-point night at spark the Falcons past Stafford 51-33 in Tuesday’s Heart of the Plains basketball game. Pugh converted six 3-pointers and scored 20 first-half points.

Stafford (2-7) was paced by sparkplug Taylor Denio with 16 points and six free throws. Ines Garcia added seven points.
