ELLINWOOD GIRLS 70, PRATT SKYLINE 20 — Ellinwood's girls showed excellent offensive balance with Reese Stickney (15), Mette Maxwell (13) and 6-2 Julia Schlessiger (12) scoring in double figures in a 70-20 victory over Pratt Skyline Thursday in the 3-game Kiowa County Shootout. Eleanor Joiner scored a career high nine points.
No. 5 state ranked 2A Ellinwood led 45-12 at halftime. The Eagles (3-0) play Medicine Lodge for the championship at 3 p.m. Saturday at Greensburg.

PRATT SKYLINE 54, ELLINWOOD 50 — Skyline's Isaac House scored 10 fourth-quarter points and Matthias Bair hit a trio of 3-pointers for a hard-fought 54-50 second-round victory over Ellinwood in the Kiowa County Shootout.
House scored 20 points and Bair added 14 points. Skyline outscored Ellinwood 23-13 in the fourth quarter.
Drake Hosman led the Eagles with 13 points and Cade Coleman added 12 points.
MEDICINE LODGE 50, KIOWA COUNTY 49 — Medicine Lodge's Lane Crenner converted the game-winning field goal for a 50-49 victory over Kiowa County. Kiowa County's Boone McDonald missed a potential game winner in the final seconds.
