VICTORIA GIRLS 55, ELLINWOOD 47

HOISINGTON — Victoria's Melany Huser scored 19 points and blocked two fourth-quarter shots to spark the Knights past Ellinwood 55-47 in Thursday's consolation game at the Hoisington Winter Jam. Ellinwood's Brittany Simpson scored for a 38-37 Eagle lead. But Huser converted back-to-back baskets and Kaitlyn Windholz followed with two baskets for a 45-37 lead.

Victoria's Kennidy Amrein scored 13 points. Ellinwood's Bella Baker contributed 12 points and several steals.

HOISINGTON — La Crosse held off a second-half rally for a hard fought for a 35-28 victory over Otis-Bison in Thursday's consolation game at the Hoisington Winter Jam. Otis-Bison's Halee Morrison and Macie Wiltse each scored 11 points.

La Crosse's Alexa Ryersee scored 14 points.

HOISINGTON — Hoisington's Macy Hanzlick dominated with 27 points as the Cardinals at the Hoisington Winter Jam. Hanzlick scored 10 fourth-quarter points as the Cardinals outscored Cimarron 14-5 in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals avenged a loss to Cimarron in last year's semifinals.

Cimarron's McKayla Miller scored 18 points.
