Carsyn Schooler, an 11-year-old from Great Bend, scored a 9 1/2-inch bearded turkey on Saturday on the property of his great-uncle Kevin Holle in Rawlins County. Carsyn is participating in the youth turkey firearms hunting season, which runs April 1-10.
