Central Kansas Christian Academy will be the site of open fourth, fifth and sixth-grade boys basketball tryouts for Kansas Elevate teams coached by Chad Friess and Matt Simmons.
Tryouts are scheduled at 215 McKinley Street for fourth-graders, 1 p.m.; fifth-graders, 2:30 p.m.; and sixth-graders, 4:30 p.m.
Friess and Simmons plan to form a 10-player team for fifth graders and a 10-player team for sixth-graders. A group of fourth-graders will also be chosen.
