The public is invited to join The 10th Street Eyecare Center for a special reception honoring longtime employee Dolores Shaheen from 3:30-5 p.m. on Friday, March 27.
After nearly 48 years of dedicated service to the locally owned optometry practice, Shaheen will be entering retirement at the end of March.
“Dolores started working here in September 1972, even before I joined the practice,” said Dr. Russ McCaulley, co-owner of The 10th Street Eyecare Center. “Dolores has helped with customer service, insurance and Medicare billings, and many other administrative duties in her 47+ years of working here. She will be greatly missed, not only because of her unique skill set, but also because of her delightful personality.”
The public is invited to stop by the come-and-go reception at The 10th Street Eyecare Center, located at 2601 10th St. in Great Bend, to enjoy light refreshments and to wish Dolores well in retirement. Cards can also be directed to Dolores at the office until the end of March.
