The certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered announced the addition of William R. Eckels to its professional team.

Eckels joins ABBB as the chief information officer of the information technology  department. He is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the department by providing managerial direction, strategic and operational planning and purchasing decisions. He will also be the firm’s go-to professional for implementing and supporting technology systems and software, as well as researching and recommending new technology.
Eckels is a graduate of Dodge City Community College, where he received his Associate of Arts in Computer Science and Communications degree. He then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kansas State University. Eckels is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a member of the Barton Community College Advisory Board. He currently resides in Great Bend with his wife, Kim, and their two daughters. In his free time he enjoys watching football and basketball, working on computers and geocaching.
