The certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered is pleased to announce Brian Staats as the firm’s new Managing Partner, effective May 1st.
“I am excited for the opportunity to lead Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball into the next generation,” said Staats. “We have an extremely talented group of professionals that share a commitment to providing our clients with dedicated, personalized service and exceptional results. I am looking forward to the continued growth of our firm and the successes we will encounter in the future.”
Staats joined Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball in 1988. As managing partner, he will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the firm and overseeing all aspects of firm management. In addition, Staats will maintain his role as a trusted advisor to clients and staff. His areas of expertise are in the agricultural industry, small business tax and accounting, estate planning, and governmental/nonprofit auditing.
Staats graduated from Fort Hays State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree. He is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA), Rotary, Chamber and the Colby Promotion Committee.
After spending the past fifteen years living in Colby, Staats has relocated to Great Bend in order to take on this new role.
