Dan Quillin employee at Advanced Therapy and Sports Medicine pictured beside Bryan Clary and Neeraj Baheti recently returned from a cross country tour as part of the esteemed Kevin Wilk traveling fellowship, learning from the worlds leaders on current rehabilitative medicine and concepts. During the trip they made stops at three locations. Fort Worth, Texas with Craig Garrison, Greenville, S.C. with Chuck Thigpin and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. with Korey Kunzer. At each site they had the chance to observe the host therapist in clinic, watch live surgeries, participate in a didactic component of learning and were a part of social activities to expand the fellows professional network. Each site was hosted by leading professionals and researchers in the physical therapy relm. They also had the opportunity to learn from nationally renowned physicians Dr. Conway and Dr. Tokish. While at each location the traveling fellows were allowed to give a presentation on current literature to help better the physical therapy profession. Each individual selected for this trip had to submit a resume and was handpicked from a pool of applicants. This prestigious tour was part of the Sports Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.
