American State Bank announced Ryan Rewerts has joined the bank as Agribusiness Lender/Credit Analyst in the Great Bend area. Rewerts most recently worked in banking in the St. John area. 

“Ryan brings 10 years of banking experience and over 25 years of ag experience to American State Bank,” said Doug Thurman, president/CEO. “We are excited to add someone with his love of agriculture and knowledge of western Kansas to our team.”

Rewerts has been active in the Stafford Education Foundation and Stafford Economic Development Organization. He is a graduate of Stafford High School and Kansas State University. 

“I’m excited to join the team at American State Bank,” Rewerts stated. “There is a great group of fellow employees here as well as some wonderful customers that I cannot wait to work with and serve.

Rewerts will office at the Great Bend branch on Main Street as well as serve the region.
