American State Bank announces Mike Neale has joined as the company’s Chief Information Officer. 

Mike Neale is an IT management professional with more than 20 years of experience in information technology and software development. Prior to American State Bank & Trust, he served as the CIO for Card Compliant, a technology-focused compliance specialty company serving prepaid and stored value cards. Prior to that, he served as a Sr. Executive for Jack Henry and Associates and CIO of a large regional bank in Springfield, Mo. 

“Mike has extensive experience in banking, technology, innovation and more,” says Greg Quarles, president and CEO. “Mike brings excellent leadership skills and vision to our team. He will play a critical role in our future as we continue to enhance our products, services, and solutions.”

American State Bank continues to invest in technology, including mobile solutions. “We are committed to digital transformation and the bank has made great strides in the past year which included a more robust website, adding products like Snap Deposit, Mobile Wallet and more,” says Neale. “I’m excited about being a part of the leadership team of a bank that is focused on improving our customer’s experience through the use of technology while maintaining a community bank culture.
