Juan and Maria Lopez have opened the Baja Burrito Fresh Mex restaurant at 2025 10th St. in Great Bend. A Great Bend Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday celebrated their newest venture.

The Lopez’s already have two other eating establishments in Great Bend – the HandleBar & Grill at 807 10th St. and Los Cabos Fajita House at 619 Main.

In addition to Mexican food and non-alcoholic beverages, Baja Burrito sells margaritas, beer and micheladas.

Baja Burrito is open six days a week. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday and they are open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. They are closed on Mondays.

Juan Lopez said they plan to open the drive-through service in the future. Customers can order delivery through Uber Eats and within the next week he plans to be set up for DoorDash orders as well.
