BCC offers 'Workplace Essentials' classes

Barton Community College will offer a series of “Workplace Essentials” classes ranging from how to dress for success to how to manage gossip in the workplace.  
All courses are from noon to 1 p.m. at The Front Door, 1615 10th Street, Great Bend. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch and “listen, interact and learn.” The topics are as follows:
• Oct. 15, “Gossip in the Workplace”
• Oct. 22, “Communication”
• Nov. 14, “Dress for Success”
Barton instructor and Coordinator of Business and Medical Administrative Technology Shanna Legleiter will be the featured speaker. She has instructed classes and provided customized training for over 13 years and utilizes a variety of techniques and concepts. She is a two-time graduate of the Disney Institute in the areas of quality service and leadership excellence. Legleiter uses a hands-on, interactive style of training that engages participants to produce highly effective results for businesses.
