Maribeth Shafer from the Central Kansas Library System in Great Bend was selected to attend the prestigious Mountain Plains Library Association’s Leadership Institute. The week-long Institute was held at Estes Park, Colo., in April and Shafer was one of 30 participants selected to participate.
Shafer, who lives in Plevna, works for the CKLS as a consultant and works closely with 54 libraries providing technical training and support for all aspects of automation and technology.
