Local entrepreneur Allie Cartwright, owner of Freaking Delicious Cheesecake, officially marked the expansion of her business Thursday morning with a Great Bend Chamber of Commerce coffee and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Fuller Industries Inc.

“I am excited about the new location,” Cartwright said. “I am excited the future.”

The event, attended by chamber officials and members of the community, celebrated a new lease agreement that allows Cartwright to operate out of Fuller’s full-service commercial kitchen.

Cartwright will offer retail sales from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays at Fuller. She will sell whole cakes, slices and other delicacies.

Fuller is located at 15 SW 40 Ave. Freaking Delicious customers are asked to use the northeast door where there is a gate.

The partnership, facilitated by the Chamber, gives Cartwright the space needed for her growing business, while Fuller Industries utilizes a facility that has been under-used since its staff cafeteria closed.

Cartwright launched the business in August 2022, but quickly grew from there. In October 2025, the business won first place and $50,000 in the Great Bend Economic Development Inc.’s Ignite Rural Business competition.

“I am so grateful,” she said. “Thank you for believing in me.”

The move to the Fuller facility allows Cartwright to transition from the historic Wolf Hotel in Ellinwood to a larger space capable of supporting a broader wholesale. The arrangement is part of a larger initiative by Fuller Industries to lease portions of its 600,000-square-foot plant to local and national businesses.

Her products are also available via custom order and at local retailers, including The Page in Great Bend and the Ellinwood Packing Plant. The new location will allow her to make more product, have her trailer out more and expand her wholesale footprint, she said.
