SALINA — Credit Union of America has purchased a facility at 582 S. Ohio St. in Salina. CUA plans to open the location in May 2019. The previous owners will remain in the office thru March 2019.
Frank Shoffner, Credit Union of America CEO, remarked, “We are pleased to expand our services for our members in Salina and for the entire community. Salina gave us a warm welcome when we opened our current branch in 2016. We were committed to the city then, as we are now. It will be great to provide the people of Salina with even more convenience and value at our new office.”
CUA’s current microbranch at 1919 S. Ohio will close when the new office opens in 2019. According to Branch Manager Ken Nowlin, the 1,440-square-foot location will feature an intelligent driveup ATM that will accept deposits and payments. Business hours will expand during the week and the branch will be open on Saturdays. CUA will be adding staff and plans to employ five or six associates, including the existing three employees. Mortgage lending, business and investment services, as well as other financial services offered at CUA offices will be available at the new office.
