The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc., (ABPN) announces an ABPN diplomate in Geriatric Psychiatry. Patrick William Stang, M.D. successfully passed the Geriatric Psychiatry Maintenance of Certification examination on April 18. In maintaining Board certification, Dr. Stang has achieved the gold standard in each of the six core competencies of patient care, medical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, systems-based practice, and practice-based learning and improvement to practice quality specialized medicine in Geriatric Psychiatry.
