ELLSWORTH — Reservations are being taken for the Ellsworth-Kanopolis Area Chamber of Commerce’s 68th Annual Meeting. The celebration of 2015 accomplishments opens at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, at the Ellsworth American Legion. The evening will begin with a cash bar social followed by a sit-down dinner catered by the Ellsworth Steak House beginning at 6:30 p.m.
There will be a short meeting at 7 p.m., honoring the Citizen of the Year. This will be followed by entertainment from local ventriloquist Pam Barber, followed by Gayle Becwar, nationally known comedic magician. The Master of Ceremonies will be local celebrity Mike Holiday.
Tickets are $40 per person or $75 per couple, or $300 for a table of eight. Tickets are available at the chamber office, Citizens State Bank & Trust, and First Bank Kansas. Chamber members and the public are welcome to attend this event.
