Show your support for the United Way of Central Kansas on Nov. 15 by wearing jeans. This is the fourth annual “Dress Down the Town” event and UWCK would love to see even more people in jeans this year than last year, Executive Director Gaila Demel said.
Participating businesses will let their employees wear jeans to work on Nov. 15 for a $1 donation to UWCK. Then, one person from each business that donated will be entered in the final drawing on Nov. 30, to win a free pair of BKE Jeans, donated by The Buckle.
This is a great way to help UWCK reach its Community Commitment of $275,000, with more than $700 being raised each year with this event, sponsors said. Send pictures of the day and UWCK will feature them on its Facebook page for the community to see.
To participate call at 620-792-2403 or email unitedwaycentralks@hotmail.com and UWCK will deliver stickers and drawing slips for employees.
