Farmers Bank & Trust has been awarded an A+ in DepositAccounts.com’s independent Bank Financial Health Rating System for the quarter ended June 30. The A+ rating is defined as the highest distinction in terms of relative financial strength and stability, according to their standardized measurement system. The service gives consumers information on the relative financial strength of U.S. commercial banks, savings institutions and credit unions.
“In today’s economic climate, it’s important for consumers to trust that their money is protected. Earning an A+ is a strong indicator of strength and stability,” said Ken Tumin, cofounder of DepositAccounts.com. “Congratulations to your team on the distinction.”
Each quarter DepositAccounts.com evaluates the financial health of every federally insured bank in the United States — more than 6,500 total. Each institution is graded on a number of factors, including capitalization, deposit growth and loan to reserve ratios, in order to determine a comprehensive health score.
“We are pleased to be awarded this A+ rating from this independent rating network. Our entire team works hard every day to provide our customers with a strong and stable banking partner, secure and prepared for the future,” said Farmers Bank & Trust CEO and President W.R. Robbins.
