Fuller Industries is pleased to announce that Alan Burton has joined the company as Financial Controller. Burton graduated summa cum laude from Fort Hays State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He worked in the retirement plan industry for several years and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. In addition, he became a certified public accountant in 2012 while working in public accounting and was recognized for earning one of the top scores in the country for that year on the Uniform CPA Exam with the Elijah Watt Sells Award. He is a member of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He currently serves as the treasurer for the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce as well as the Bissell’s Point Homeowner’s Association. Commenting on the new position, Burton states, “I am excited to work with a longstanding business in our community and am anxious to do my part to help contribute to its future success. Seeing the support of local investors who have realized the potential of this organization is inspiring and motivating.
