Les Hopkins, owner and general manager of Great Bend Farm Equipment, announced today that the dealership is now a Honda Outdoor Power Equipment dealer. Hopkins made the decision to market the Honda lineup because John Deere no longer manufactures and markets residential walk behind and hand held lawn care equipment. Hopkins stated, “While John Deere is committed to manufacturing and marketing premium riding lawn equipment, they made the decision to team up with Honda in order to provide walk behind lawn equipment to their dealer network. At the start of this new year, we started marketing Honda Outdoor Power Equipment, which includes walk behind lawn mowers, snowblowers, tillers and trimmers. Honda is a brand known for its integrity and high quality equipment, which are important attributes to Deere customers, so I believe it will be a great addition to our residential and outdoor power equipment business.”  Great Bend Farm Equipment will be a full service dealer; they will offer parts and service for all of the Honda equipment that they sell. The Honda equipment is now available at Great Bend Farm Equipment’s Lawn Equipment Center located south of Great Bend along Highway 281 at 241 SE 10 Ave.
