A Great Bend Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting was held for Chelsea Mitchell Photography.

After setting up a successful studio and purchasing of the Historic Allen Building, Chelsea Mitchell Photography can now be found at 1217 Main Street, Great Bend. Residents may recognize this as the old Riggs Studio building which also occupied a successful photographer. The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and staff were excited to help Mitchell celebrate this expansion and move at a recent ribbon cutting ceremony.

In business for 14 years with one employee in addition to herself, Mitchell said, “I am excited to be the third-generation photographer operating out of the Riggs Studio location and looking forward to serving our community.”

Mitchell travels all over the state and country photographing children, families, senior portraits, special events such as high-end, luxury weddings.

“Outside of our general area, I photograph luxury weddings around the United States and take a limited number of clients. I travel to my clients, wherever they may be,” she said.

Chelsea Mitchell Photography also offers photograph restoration and negative/slide digitization. With the purchase of the new location, she is now able to offer custom framing, which has made for a great addition to the business owner’s service offerings.
