In honor of Hammeke Electric’s 20 Year Anniversary, loyal customers and friends are invited to celebrate with them during their customer appreciation celebration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, June 11. A few Hammeke electricians will be manning the grill outside of their primary location of 167 N. 281 Highway in Great Bend and serving brats and hotdogs from Ellinwood Packing Plant. Customers can enter to win prizes, such as a free Alarm System with a year of Free Monitoring, as well as other prizes and Hammeke Swag. Customers can also shop overstock and discontinued warehouse items that will be sold way below retail prices. Items include indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, bathroom fans, emergency lighting, specialty light bulbs and more!

Hammeke Electric was established in 2001 by Master Electrician Tim Hammeke and his wife Kim.

Tim earned his Master Electrician license at the age of 21, the youngest possible age to attempt this accreditation. The company’s Mission Statement, written 20 years ago, remains in the forefront of all  they do and guides the culture and core values of their leadership and employees to this day.

Mission Statement: “It is our mission to provide our customers with the best service and value in a safe work atmosphere. We strive for excellence, through honesty and integrity, with a willingness to never stop learning. We are a team that works together for the best interest of our customers. We believe God owns this company and we are His stewards. We want to be sure that everything we do honors Him.”

Hammeke Electric meets the electrical and power needs of communities throughout Kansas, with locations in both Great Bend and Emporia. The Emporia branch is managed by electrician Jack Deiter. Both locations offer residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial electrical services. They also have an Automation and Special Systems Division, led by Dustin White and a Security Division overseen by Brant Harms.

They acquired Petroleum Electric in October of 2020 and have expanded their scope of expertise to include oil field services. Hammeke Electric is also a Generac Generator Power Pro Elite Plus Certified Dealer, specializing in sales, service, and installation.

“So far, 2021 has been a momentous year for Hammeke Electric Inc.,” Tim said. “Overseeing several exciting and challenging projects in central Kansas has become the norm.”

They recently finished the electrical installation for Dry Lake Brewing in Great Bend and continue to work on the new state-of the-art Wheatland Electric Facility that will include new and innovative green technologies such as car charging stations, a wind generator, and a solar generator. Their team of professionals have also been contracted to complete the electrical for the new grain bins in Susank and Toulon for Midland Marketing, as well as new construction for Clara Barton Hospital in both Great Bend and Hoisington.

Project Manager Ryan Hammeke oversees and coordinates the day-to-day activities and works closely with their team of licensed electricians, including Josh Mead, Ryan Novonty (Vot), Steven Zecha, and more than a dozen other skilled apprentices and technicians.
